I thought I would share some of the Americana rugs I hooked early on in my hooking career. I have been hooking for 18 years. The above one is a beginner rug that I taught to new rug hookers when I had my shop in Nebraska.
The hearts rug was a kit that I had purchased and hooked when I was first starting out!
The quilt below is one of my cherished Americana quilts. A friend of mines Grandma made it for me and it is all hand quilted.
The next two photos, the top one is a rug I hooked very early on in my hooking and it is a Maggie Bonanomi pattern. When we moved to NC I put it on our screened in porch and it has faded over the years to this.
And this is the picture of the back side~
It has faded just a little! LOL
The geometric one was a McGown teacher's workshop piece I had to hook for one of my projects and is one of my favorites.
The rug below is a Lori Brechlin pattern.
The Sweet Land of Liberty is a Woolen Memories pattern.
The one above is and Edyth O"Neil pattern I believe and I hooked it in a workshop with Anita White back in 2003.
The three below are ones I hooked early on too.
Hope you have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
ENJOY!
